Seven-time Super Bowl champions Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Levi’s Stadium on Sunday at Mr. Lost to Irrelevant and the San Francisco 49ers 35-7.
Brock Purdy, the final pick in the 2022 NFL draft, became stellar by beating the Buccaneers, completing 16 of 21 passes and two touchdowns for 185 yards, as well as rushing for three yards and scoring in his first NFL start.
Meanwhile, Brady had one of the worst games of the season, and possibly his career, to complete 34 of 55 passes for 253 yards and a touchdown against two interceptions.
The 45-year-old looks like he’s finally hearing Father Zaman’s footsteps and was ripped off by NFL Twitter for yet another overwhelming performance in which he seemed washed out:

At this point, Tom Brady seems to spend most of his time trying to decide who to yell at next. #Bucs

Brady and the Buccaneers are down to 6-7 in the season with Sunday’s loss and are in danger of not making it to the postseason.
With Brady looking as exhausted as he is against the Niners, it might be wise for the Buccaneers to give Kyle Trask a shot, especially given that Brady is in his last year of contract and likely won’t be returning to Tampa Bay in 2023.
The Buccaneers will host the Cincinnati Bengals next weekend to go back to .500.
