Today’s Wordle #529 Tips, Hints, and Answers for Wednesday, November 30th

Officially the last day of November 2022. December is very close to the future. In some parts of the world, it’s already here.

December is always a time to think. We look at the year that has laid behind us and try to remember it, for better or for worse. What were our favorite movies? Favorite books? What did we do right, what did we do wrong? How will we make the next year better? This blog will have lots of posts about my favorite games and shows, so please follow along if you like.

Today is also the release date of a series I’m very excited about: Willow. The series is a sequel to the old 1988 movie and follows the return of Willow Ufgood. Warwick Davis reprises his role as the Nelwin wizard. He was only 18 when he portrayed the character in the original movie! We’ll see if it’s a faithful return to the world created by George Lucas and directed by Ron Howard, or if it falls into the many traps that many modern shows fall into.

All right, let’s make this Wordle! Last Word of the Month!

Today’s Wordle Solution (with spoilers)

Clue: This will greatly help your education.

Clue: This word has more consonants than vowels.

This is one example of proving that bad luck in life can always turn into good (and vice versa).

My opening prediction allegation, it looked like it would do pretty well with two vowels and some very common letters. Unfortunately, it really left me with a lot of possible solutions at 654 (the worst I’ve had in weeks).

Neither the yellow box nor the green, I guessed another wonderful word—to stroke-with two fresh vowels and three fairly common consonants. But I couldn’t grope for a yellow or green box and left guess #2 with all the grays and 32 possible words to choose from.

And this is where my luck turned. I wanted to go for a word that contained both a ‘U’ and a ‘Y’ (I felt that the Q was probably not an option with no more vowels left, since QU almost always has another vowel right after it). Study it contained two very common consonants and seemed like a pretty good guess to get me closer. Imagine how surprised I was when each box turned green!

I should have opened with study! That would be a really good chance. Either way, I beat Wordle Bot today. guessed slate / pinot / staff / study and walks away with a red ribbon and a big L.

I’m getting a W on this and I’ll end this with a yawn huzzah!

Peace and love, dear Wordlers. Be perfect to each other.
