Cleveland @ San Antonio
Current Records: Cleveland 17-10; San Antonio 8-18
need to know
The San Antonio Spurs were on the wrong side of a one-way rivalry with the Cleveland Cavaliers and are hoping to record their first win since March 19 last year. They’ll face off at the AT&T Center on Monday at 8:30 PM ET. San Antonio needs to play a defense that allows 120.42 points per game.
The Spurs were certainly excited, but they managed to beat the Miami Heat in a 115-111 win last Saturday. Small forward Keldon Johnson (21 points) and shooting guard Romeo Langford (19 points) were San Antonio’s top scorers.
Meanwhile, Cleveland took a 110-102 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder last Saturday. Cleveland can attribute most of his success to center Jarrett Allen, who had a double-double with 21 points and 11 rebounds.
San Antonio is expected to lose the next game by 5.5. However, as they are currently on a two-game ATS winning streak, they may be worth a shot against the spread.
When the two teams met earlier in February, the Spurs were beaten away by the Cavaliers by a decisive 105-92. Maybe San Antonio would be luckier at home rather than away? Watch the competition and check back on CBS Sports for full details.
