The Los Angeles Rams may have scored twice. requested Senior quarterback Baker Mayfield waived Tuesday.
The reigning Super Bowl champions now have another option under the center, Matthew Stafford is still in the injured reserve and John Wolford is battling a neck injury.
Los Angeles also ensured that Mayfield did not land with the San Francisco 49ers, who had to lean against Brock Purdy as a starter for potentially 7-8 weeks with Jimmy Garoppolo due to a Lisfranc injury, according to ESPN. Adam Schefter.

At 3-9, the Rams weren’t mathematically eliminated from the playoff race, but their postseason pursuits were virtually over.
Playing the spoiler role and helping the Niners reject an NFC West title gives Los Angeles the little bit of satisfaction it can get from a disappointing season.
