Peyton and Eli Manning returned Monday night to cover the New England Patriots’ match against the Arizona Cardinals, with both teams looking to finish the season strong.
Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow was the first guest of the night during the “ManningCast” simulcast. While diverting from talking about the trio, Peyton Manning asked Burrow about his cigar smoking and reminded the audience of the famous photo of the quarterback smoking one after LSU’s national championship against Clemson to wrap up the 2019-20 season.

Manning then asked Burrow who drank better, and showed a picture of then-Alabama quarterback Mac Jones taking off his jersey and with a cigar in his mouth next to Burrow’s locker-room smoking adventure. Each of the quarterbacks chuckled as the image of Jones appeared next to Burrow.
“Sorry, Mac. I think I brought you there, man,” Burrow replied.
Peyton Manning praised Burrow for not removing his jersey during the photo shoot.
“This was a carried veteran,” said the former quarterback of the Indianapolis Colts.

Eli Manning interrupted: “I’m sure Mac is really excited about showing us pictures with the shirt off.”
The broadcast once again showed the side-by-side footage before the broadcast went into commercial as Jones’ Patriots offensive returned to the field.
“I’m sure Mac will be very happy with that,” added Peyton Manning.
For what it’s worth, Jones entered the 2022 season looking smashed. His girlfriend posted a emaciated photo of Jones in August.
