Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant injured in car accident on Delhi-Dehradun highway

Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant was injured after his car was involved in an accident in the northern Indian state of Uttarakhand early Friday, possibly excluding him from the upcoming 2023 World Cup.

The wicket keeper and star shooter suffered two cuts on his forehead, a ligament tear in his right knee, and also injured his right ankle, ankle and a toe. He also had abrasion injuries on his back, India’s national cricket board said in a statement.
