We’re getting far beyond Black Friday, but deals are still coming in strong. First of all, last Google Nest Center It’s down to an all-time low of just $39 at Walmart. And besides being a $70 discount, this deal comes with a free WiZ smart bulb.
The second-generation Nest Hub is Google’s latest seven-inch smart display. This small portal to Google Assistant gives you access to weather, news updates, and music streaming, and makes a great digital picture frame if Google Photos is your cloud photography platform of choice. It’s also a handy smart home remote because you can use your voice to set timers, view videos on a Chromecast-connected TV, or turn smart lights on and off. If you snag this deal with the free WiZ bulb, the last bit is a given. The included WiZ bulb isn’t as fancy as Philips Hue’s color options, but it’s a very bright 800-lumen soft white bulb that dims and supports smart programs without the need for a bridge. New, 10th generation iPad It’s on sale at Best Buy for $399 in any of its cute four colors. That’s $50 off the latest “essential” iPad, making it the most affordable ever. Still, this iPad is a little harder to recommend than most. While the iPhone 12 has a competent A14 Bionic processor, a webcam and USB-C (spring) on the long side for easier horizontal video calls, it also lacks a headphone jack (boo). But the hardest thing is its price, as it normally retails for $449, which is $120 more than its predecessor. This $50 discount helps fix that a bit, so if you feel compelled to buy this middling iPad, you might as well get the best deal you can get.
Apple’s 10th generation iPad is the spiritual successor to the older ninth generation model. Still, it removed the headphone jack and became more expensive in exchange for its revised design, horizontal webcam, USB-C port, larger 10.9-inch display, and faster processor.
this The late 2021 ninth generation iPad is currently on sale for just $269.99 At Best Buy ($60 off). While this model has the old thick bezels and Lightning connector of older iPads, it’s an outstanding value for those who only need the basics. The A13 Bionic CPU is still suitable for most people today, and it still has the tried-and-true headphone jack and home button with Touch ID. Since it supports the first generation Apple Pencil just like the new 10th generation, it is equally capable of taking notes. You want the latest (though let’s not forget the iPad Air exists), but when it comes to value, you can’t beat the ninth-gen iPad either.
Apple’s entry-level iPad for 2021 features the A13 Bionic chip and a 12MP front camera that supports Apple’s Center Stage feature. It’s also compatible with the first-generation Apple Pencil and Smart Keyboard, and is still the only iPad with a 3.5mm headphone jack.
