Mother white lotus spoilers ahead. Proceed at your own risk.
if you told me that White Lotus Season 2 ended with Jennifer Coolidge ending up in a yachting shootout with the mob, I would have thought you had too many Aperol spritzes. But that’s actually exactly what we have.
Of course, other antics were dropped as well. Scams were successful, cheating (which may have happened) occurred, and new relationships were formed. But the moment everyone will remember most from this finale will undoubtedly be who died and how they died. Without further ado, let’s examine the craziest moments. White Lotus Season 2 finale.
And the victims of the White Lotus Resort…
Please don’t hurt Jennifer Coolidge.

From the very beginning of the season, we knew that many White Lotus Resort guests would die. And now we know that these guests are Tanya (Jennifer Coolidge), Quentin (Tom Hollander) and Didier (Bruno Gouery). Niccoló (Stefano Gianino), once Tanya’s lover, completes the death toll, despite never being a White Lotus guest.
The crazy road to these deaths consists of a cowboy, a yacht, and a getaway that goes terribly wrong. While Quentin takes Tanya back to Taormina on her yacht, her supposed nephew Jack (Leo Woodall) distracts a worried Portia (Haley Lu Richardson). However, when Portia is finally able to call Tanya, the two realize that something dangerous is going on.
It all goes back to the photo of the two cowboys Portia saw at Quentin’s palace. It turns out that the cowboy next to Quentin – and possibly the person he says he’s infatuated with Tanya – is her husband, Greg (Jon Gries). It was Greg who insisted they go to Sicily, but he returned home to continue his relationship with an unknown person, leaving Tanya alone. That’s when Quentin and “top gays” became friends with Tanya.
As Drunk Jack tells Portia, Quentin and his friends have no money. However, he also says they’re about to take a big hit. Tanya puts two and two together: her prenuptial agreement with Greg says that if they get divorced, Greg basically gets nothing. However, if he dies, he gets his enormous wealth. So the puzzle pieces fit into place. Quentin will kill Tanya for Greg, who will pay him with Tanya’s money so he can run his palace.

As if the alarm bells weren’t ringing loud enough, Niccoló, either in the mob or really well connected to the mob, shows up to drive Tanya back to the hotel. Tanya takes her bag and it’s filled with your standard kidnapping and murder material. Next thing you know, all hell is breaking loose.
By “hell” I mean specifically “Jennifer Coolidge with a gun.” Armed with Niccoló’s weapon, Tanya takes out Quentin, Didier, and Niccoló herself in a scene that is as haunting as it is wildly unexpected. It turns out that Tanya “Peppa Pig” McQuoid is actually a one-man army dressed in a floral-print dress. He’s also a weeping wreck, and understandably so. She could demand an explanation from She quention, but all she really wanted to know was if Greg was having an affair. He doesn’t answer before he dies, leaving Tanya and us in the dark.
After the immediate threat is gone, all Tanya has to do is hop aboard Niccoló’s little boat and escape. This is difficult to do in the dark and in high heels, and soon Tanya is thrown headfirst into the ocean. The devastating rumble that comes as the boat hits the side tells us everything we need to know: Tanya is all that’s left of Season 1. White Lotus died except for her terrible husband.
Losing Tanya (and especially Jennifer Coolidge) like this is a huge blow. The entire episode is based on this moment, but after the shootout, we still have some hope that he can escape. Tragically, this is a cruel world and White Lotus He soon confirms that Tanya is the body Daphne (Meghann Fahy) found in the water in the first episode. All the clues were there, including references to Madam Butterfly’s death, but just because we can see it coming doesn’t mean it hurts any less.
So where was Portia all this time?

When Portia isn’t talking to Tanya, she does her best to get Jack to take her back to Taormina. Unfortunately, Jack has turned from incompetent Essex dude into an absolutely horrible kidnapper, and the atmosphere is only disrupted when Portia reveals that she knows Jack is having sex with his supposed uncle. (White Lotus He never confirms or denies blood ties, but it is implied that Quentin is keeping Jack.) Jack drops Portia at the airport and tells her to stay away from the hotel. He follows his instructions to the letter, no doubt more than ready to leave this traumatic journey behind.
Sicilian villas and horny goats: Everything you need to know about the ‘White Lotus’ Season 2 opening credits
Did Harper cheat on Ethan with Cameron? So how does Daphne react?

Harper is experiencing this and who can blame him?

The quartet of Harper (Aubrey Plaza), Ethan (Will Sharpe), Daphne and Cameron (Theo James) has been an incredibly rich source of confusion all season long, and in the finale, the chaos escalates to very high levels. Ethan confronts Harper, who believes he is cheating on her with Cameron. She reveals that Cameron briefly kissed her, ignoring it as “drunk, stupid nothing.” Ethan still thinks Harper isn’t telling the whole truth, but he’s more certain that Cameron made the move against his wife. He retaliates by confronting Cameron and nearly drowning him in the ocean. No death here though! Male aggression only.
Later, Ethan meets Daphne and tells her about his suspicions. After a brief moment of hurt, Daphne gives him advice similar to what she told Harper earlier this season: “Do whatever it takes to not feel like a victim of life.” Soon the two of them head to Isola Bella, presumably to meet up. However, just like with Harper and Cameron’s potential relationship, we don’t know the whole truth about what happened. What happens in Isola Bella stays in Isola Bella.
Still, everything Daphne and Ethan did must have worked wonders, as Ethan and Harper have sex for the first time on their last night in Sicily all vacation. It’s a joyful moment and a relief for Harper, but underneath it all there is something worrying. What will their relationship be like if they both keep doing “whatever they have to do”? Will it look like Daphne and Cameron’s? One can only hope for their well-being.
Lucia is the crook queen of Sicily.

The fraud continues.

The awkward triangle of Albie (Adam DiMarco), Dominic (Michael Imperioli) and Lucia (Simona Tabasco) comes to an awkward conclusion in the Season 2 finale. Lucia asks Albie for 50,000 euros to escape the mysterious Alessio. How is Albie going to get all that money? Through emotional manipulation, of course!
Albie asks his father to pay Lucia the money, calling it karmic pay for all Dom’s cheating. She sweetens the deal by promising to tell her mother that Dom really changed his mind over the holidays. That’s what signed the deal. Dom pays and Lucia leaves Albie after a night together. Alessio’s entire hiccup story turned out to be a ruse to appeal to Albie’s naive, “wounded bird” savior side. I’m not sure anyone can “win” White Lotusbut we congratulate Lucia for coming out 50 thousand euros richer this season.
What about the elephant in the room? You know, both Dom and Albie, father and son, had sex with the same woman? you would think White Lotus could have found a way to expose this supremely strange truth, but no. This could be a secret Dom has to deal with for the rest of his life. But can you imagine the drama if Albie had found out? Now He it would be really delicious.
Mia and Valentina and the beginning of a beautiful friendship.

Congratulations to our first surviving White Lotus Resort manager.

While hotel manager Valentina (Sabrina Impacciatore) and up-and-coming singer Mia (Beatrice Grannò) aren’t going to start a full-fledged romance, they’re apparently going to form a new business partnership. After returning from the hospital, Valentina (ah) fires the pianist Giuseppe (Federico Scribani) and takes Mia in her place. He also reunites front desk worker Isabella (Eleonora Romandini) with her fiancé, Rocco (Federico Ferrante), who even warmly welcomes Rocco. Character development!
Maybe it’s best when Mia promises Valentina to find a girlfriend; this process will involve Mia, Lucia and Valentina going to some “crazy clubs”. white lotus Is there a by-product?
Geldiderci, Sicily!

Maybe see you on our next vacation?

Just like Season 1, Season White Lotus ends at the airport with all guests flying home. In a role different from their first scene together, we’ve never seen Ethan and Harper more relaxed or affectionate, as Cameron and Daphne seem more distant from each other. All three DiGrasso men take a second to stare at an attractive young woman and prove that some things really never change. And Portia, who wears sports sunglasses and a hijab-wrapped baseball cap to stay hidden, reunites with Albie. They exchange numbers and horror stories (Jack is “crazy”, Lucia “cheated” Albie) with a hint that this could be the start of a new relationship.
Here we have it. White Lotus Season 2 was a horny, messy and crazy ride with 100 percent more conflict and 100 percent less pooping in luggage. Will any of these guests reappear in Season 3? Will creator-writer Mike White face justice for stealing us from Jennifer Coolidge? And most importantly, can the White Lotus Resorts finally fix their unusually high death rate? Seriously, it’s a miracle these places are still open.
